Cecelia Barker provides English Language Services to internationals. She assists her ESL students in identifying real-life language problems — including cultural misunderstandings — and coaches them on possible solutions involving pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and deeper understanding.
10-class introductory course. 1.5 hour per online class. $400 per student (Maximum 4 students per group). — Customized instruction and coaching. Language samples determine focus and assist students to define their needs.
10-week course. 1 hour per online class. $600 per student. — Customized 1:1 tutoring and coaching. Writing sample and business needs analysis determines focus.
Course length varies. 1 to 1.5 hours per online class. $400 per 10-week semester. — Students and teacher select a book to read, according to student interests and book availability. Skills worked include reading aloud (pronunciation, rhythm, stamina and other public speaking skills), grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, writing summaries.
